The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, expresses its deepest condolences to the family and the entire management of the Kano State Radio Corporation over the loss of its Director of FM, Hajiya Habiba Abubakar.
A statement jointly signed by the Acting Secretary of the Council, Hauwa Suleiman Zahradeen, and the Acting Council Chairman, Comrade Mustapha Gambo, said the news of her death was received with deep shock among relatives, friends, and colleagues in the media profession.
While commiserating with the bereaved, the Council Acting Chairman described the late Director as a remarkably humble person throughout her meritorious service at the Kano State Radio Corporation.
The Council prays to Allah (S.W.T) to grant her soul eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to comfort the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
