Stallion times is a media organization founded in May, 2020 in Kano, Nigeria. It is owned and operated by independent and transparent journalists.
Stallion Times objective is to restore trust in news by way of producing development stories that inform, educate, entertain, and hold leaders and institutions accountable. It is dedicated to publishing quality contents of overlooked communities, and to promote a variety of voices.

Isiyaku Ahmed is the Chief Content Officer of Stallion Times. He is a trained multi-media journalist with over 18 years’ experience. He is a graduate of Accountancy from Bayero University (BUK) and a Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). His skills evolve around communication, administration, finance, and development advocacy.
He has attended numerous training on diverse aspects of journalism and development, home and abroad.
His demonstrated competencies include content development, media training and consultancy, development advocacy and working with civil society organizations (CSOs); providing technical and administrative support to donor funded projects.
Ahmed is the principal partner at Thunderbird Touch & Media Communication Ltd, a media consulting firm and business enterprise. He is also the Executive Director, Voice and Accountability Platform, Kano (VAP) a good governance coalition of civil society organizations.
Currently, he reports for the English to Africa Service of Voice of America (VOANews).
