Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Saturday evening along the Daura-Katsina highway while on official duty.
According to a statement from the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor did not sustain any serious injuries and remains in stable condition.
“The Governor is in good health and high spirits. We thank Almighty Allah for His protection,” the statement read.
Governor Radda also extended his appreciation to the people of Katsina and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern following the incident.
Officials have not provided details about the cause of the accident, but confirmed there were no casualties. The governor is expected to continue his official engagements as scheduled.
