Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich wrapped up their season in style with a commanding 4-0 victory away at Hoffenheim, marking the end of an era as club legend Thomas Müller made his final appearance.

The 35-year-old, who has spent his entire senior career with Bayern, is set to leave when his contract expires this summer.

During his time in Munich, Müller has amassed 13 Bundesliga titles and two Champions League trophies.

His 503rd Bundesliga appearance places him 12th on the league’s all-time appearance list.

Though he didn’t score in his farewell match, he exited to applause after an hour, replaced by Harry Kane.

Michael Olise opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a well-placed free-kick that curled over the wall and nestled inside the post.

Hoffenheim striker Andrej Kramaric—who has netted more goals against Bayern than any other current Bundesliga player—missed a golden opportunity to reduce the deficit when one-on-one with Manuel Neuer early in the second half.

Bayern then turned up the pressure. Joshua Kimmich made it 2-0 with a close-range effort that deflected past goalkeeper Oliver Baumann. Serge Gnabry added a third with a precise low shot from the edge of the area, and Kane capped off the win by scoring his 26th league goal of the season.

It was also a farewell for Eric Dier, who made his final Bayern appearance before a summer move to Monaco. Leroy Sané came off the bench late in the game, with his future at the club still uncertain amid transfer speculation.

Bayern ended the season 13 points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen. Hoffenheim, despite the heavy defeat, avoided the relegation play-off spot thanks to Heidenheim’s loss to Werder Bremen.
