The Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has announced the deployment of 1,000 personnel across strategic locations in preparation for the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) celebrations.

A statement issued on Monday by the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada, said the proactive measure is aimed at ensuring the free flow of traffic and maintaining order during the festive period.

The personnel will be stationed at key areas, including Eid-el-Kabir prayer grounds, major roads, and recreational centers where large gatherings are expected.

The Managing Director (MD) of KAROTA, Faisal Mahmud Kabir, stated that the agency remains committed to safeguarding road users and minimizing congestion during the celebrations.

He further urged motorists to cooperate with traffic officials and adhere strictly to traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and incident-free Sallah.

The MD of the Agency wishes all residents a peaceful and safe Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
