The initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to tackle unemployment through skills acquisition.
The inspection tour ended at Challawa/Goje Dama in Karaye Local Government Area, where the Commissioner of Power, Dr. Gaddafi Sani Shehu, disclosed that a 6MW power plant is nearing completion to improve electricity supply across Kano.
Speaking with journalists after the tour, Dr. Neliaku said the Council was impressed by the administration’s blend of physical development and human capital investment.
