Idris Pledges Sustained support to Pilgrims Agency for Smooth Hajj Operation

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, has pledged his administration’s sustained support to the the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency towards smooth Hajj throughout his tenure.

He gave the assurance on Thursday during an interactive meeting with religious leaders and traditional rulers in three Local Government Areas of Kalgo, Jega, and Aliero.

Gov. Idris visited the three councils to thank the people of the area for giving him the mandate to govern the state.

He explained that his administration would continue to support all the state-intending pilgrims willing to perform their spiritual obligations.

“It is worthy to note that I supported the pilgrims during the last year’s Hajji, especially in the payment of Hadaya (sacrificial ram) among other supports.

“In Sha Allah throughout my tenure, I will continue to assist the intending pilgrims towards ensuring smooth Hajj exercise in the Holy land,” he said.

Governor Idris assured the readiness of his administration to strengthen the cordial relationship with the masses to facilitate good governance.

He assured his administration’s commitment to continue to provide dividends of democracy to the people of Kebbi State.

The Sarki Kabin Jega, Arzika Bawa, thanked the Governor for what he has been doing to the people of Jega Local Government in particular and the state at large.
