Monthly Sanitation: Mobile Court Fines Erring Drivers

Mobile Court on a monthly environmental sanitation exercise has fined some erring commercial and private motor drivers in the Kirikasamma Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The drivers of the commercial and private motor trucks, buses, cars, and Lorries were fined for violating the rules and regulations at the end of the February environmental sanitation exercise held in Kirikasamma.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Department of Water and Sanitation of Kirikasamma, Muhammad Maisamari said they have evacuated dirt that threatens the environment.

In the same vein, the Head of the Department of Water and Sanitation at Malam Mador, Shehu Sani Gwadayi, said this month’s exercise covered areas like Hospitals, markets, roadside, motor parks drainage, and culverts.

Also speaking on the exercise, the Council Chairman of Kirikasamma, Muhammad Maji Marma, who participated in the environmental sanitation pledged to expand it by flagging off it at each District area of Kirikasamma.

He commended the state Governor for reviving the exercise, adding that it will improve the atmospheric condition, and prevent germs that can easily threaten local communities.
