Governor Ahmad Aliyu has restated his administration’s commitment to building a stronger and economically vibrant Sokoto State through ongoing reforms and strategic development programs.

He made this known on Wednesday while declaring open the 12th Regular Executive Council Meeting for the year 2025, where he assured that people-oriented projects would remain a priority.

Governor Aliyu emphasized that his government is focused on initiatives that improve the quality of life for citizens, noting that both infrastructure and human capital development are central to his agenda.

“I want to reassure you of our determination to ensure a new Sokoto State that our generation and those yet unborn would be proud of.

“We will continue to prioritize infrastructural and human development as part of our overall efforts to advance our dear state,” he said.

Addressing security concerns affecting some parts of the state, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to work closely with security agencies to restore peace and stability.

“We will not relent in our efforts to ensure peaceful coexistence and lasting peace in our dear state,” he stressed.

Governor Aliyu called on residents to support government policies and programmes, urging all well-meaning citizens to contribute to the development of the state.

He also commended members of the State Executive Council for their dedication and contributions to the administration’s achievements so far.

He expressed appreciation to the people of Sokoto for their continued support and prayers, calling for sustained cooperation to enable the government to deliver on its mandate.
