Prof. Haruna Musa Elected As New Vice Chancellor Of BUK

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has elected Professor Haruna Musa as its new Vice Chancellor.

The election, conducted on Tuesday within the university premises, saw Professor Musa emerge as the leading candidate among five contenders vying for the esteemed position.

The official vote tally is as follows:

1. Professor Haruna Musa – 853 votes
2. Professor Mahmoud Umar Sani – 367 votes
3. Professor Muhammad Sani Gumel – 364 votes
4. Professor Adamu Idris Tanko – 161 votes
5. Professor Bashir Muhammad Fagge – 18 votes

Professor Musa’s election marks a new chapter in the leadership of one of Nigeria’s foremost universities.
