The Residents of Baturiya, Fandum, Suga, Ilallah, and Gauta communities have commended Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi, for reconstructing and renovating the Baturiya Road in line with his 12-point development agenda.
One of the residents, Chairman of Baturiya Market, Abdullahi Barma, said the reconstruction and renovation of the Baturiya road will boost the sector and easy transportation of goods and services from some parts of Bauchi state to Jigawa for Business purposes.
“The construction of Market stalls by the Local Government Council Chairman of Kirikasamma is also a welcome development as it beautifies the market and boosts the internally generated revenue,” he added.
The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Baturiya Chapter, Kanna, thinks that the renovation and reconstruction of the road has increased the number of visitors to Baturiya Game Reserve compared to previous years.
On his part, the Kirikasamma Local Government Council Chairman, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, said he is doing all possible things to fulfill electioneering campaign promises to ensure the presence and existence of the 12-point agenda of Governor Namadi in the Council.
