Governor Yusuf’s Achievements: Waiya Inaugurates Kwankwasiyya Facebook Group

Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya has inaugurated the Kwankwasiyya Facebook Group that will champion the promotion of Kano state government achievements.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony on Sunday, the commissioner explained that, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is working for the development of the state, but the achievements are underreported.

He said, currently, the government is working on over 300 hundred project sites across the state, which need to be promoted for Kano residents to know and appreciate.

Waiya urged the Facebookers to use their talent and influence on the social media platform to promote the achievements of Governor Yusuf.

“The present-day Social Media is not only meant for dancing and singing, but you also have followers to feed with the right information and educate them about government activities and programs”

Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi said, the government will have to work with the Facebookers and pledged to equip them with training and capacity building for them to understand the social media for development.

“The governor has the state at heart, just like our leader Engineer Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. I am speaking to you, I don’t have any other state than Kano, and so we will not join hands with those who want to destroy the state.

He urged them to unite and work together for their progress and the progress of the state government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf

On his part, the Chairman of the group, Abdurrahman Hamisu pledged to work tirelessly to promote the achievements of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
