SEMA Distributes Relief Materials to Victims of Flood, Fire Disaster in Malam Madori

The Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) on Monday distributed relief materials to victims of flood, fire disaster, and less privilege in the Malam Madori Local Government Area of the state.

SEMA’s Director of Planning, Muhammad Bala, said the items distributed include 25/ 10kg bags of Rice and Maize, Rubber buckets, Mats, Showel, Soup ingredients, and others.

He said the Chairman of Malam Madori, Salisu sani Garin-Gabas, and his vice ensured victims have been eased from the suffering they have experienced.

The Chairman commended Governor Umar Namadi’s administration for the gesture of providing the relief materials in time.

One of the victims of the fire disaster, Malam Musa Adamu Gidan Gona praised the Chairman and the state Governor for showing concern for his people.

Earlier, the Vice Chairman, Amina Haruna Dokaje, welcomed all participants who graced the occasion during the distribution exercise.
