The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the constitution of a high-powered committee to coordinate activities marking the 3-year anniversary of his administration.
The committee is expected to design and implement programs that will showcase the achievements recorded under the present administration across key sectors.
The committee is made up of the Secretary to the Government of Kano State, Faruk Ibrahim; the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi,nim, as well as Commissioners and Special Advisers to the Governor.
Their inclusion reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring a credible and well-structured celebration that highlights progress made so far.
The committee is mandated to immediately commence work on planning activities that will project the administration’s achievements in critical sectors including infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery, agriculture, environmental management, rural development, and other areas of governance.
It is also expected that the anniversary celebration will serve as a platform to further demonstrate the administration’s commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, and people-oriented policies over the past three years.
The committee is to ensure a well-coordinated and impactful celebration that will provide citizens and stakeholders an opportunity to assess the milestones achieved under Governor Yusuf’s leadership since assuming office.
