Kano State Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, on Sunday led a delegation on condolence visits to Karaye and Kura Local Government Areas to sympathise with families over the loss of their loved ones.
In Karaye town, the Deputy Governor visited veteran broadcaster Zulyadaini Sidi Mustapha to condole with him over the death of his mother, Hajiya Saratu Sidi Mustapha Karaye who passed away last Tuesday.
He described the deceased as a woman of virtue who devoted her life to the service of her family and community.
Murala Sule Garo prayed Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus and give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The delegation also paid a sympathy visit to Hajiya Hafsatu Ahmadu, who is currently undergoing treatment. She is the mother of Hajiya Hussaina Ahmadu, a respected political figure in Karaye local Government area and the wider zone.
Similarly, the delegation proceeded to Kura Local Government Area, where it paid a condolence visit to the family of late Tijjani Rabiu of Kura town, who passed away two days ago at the age of sixty seven (67) years.
Some residents in the area described the deceased as a respected community member who was known for showing respect and extending support to others.
The delegation also visited the family of late Dahiru Adamu Kura, who died last Monday.
Late Dahiru Adamu was the brother of Kabiru Adamu Kura, the All progressive Congress (APC ) Secretary in Kura Local Government Area.
“The visits are part of the state government’s efforts to stand with bereaved families and offer support during moments of grief,” the Deputy Governor said.
