A two-term Chairman of Dala Local Government Council in Kano State, Mahmoud Sani Madakin Gini, is dead.
According to his family friend, Umar Ladiyo, he died in a car accident on Monday along the Kaduna-Abuja highway, precisely at Kateri.
Madakin Gini was the local government council chairman during Ibrahim Shekarau’s administration from 2004- 2011.
A statement by the Chairman of Dala Local Government Council, Surajo Ibrahim Imam, said the funeral prayer is scheduled for 5.00 pm on Monday at the family residence at Yelwa quarters.
