Truckloads of 1,400 bags of rice and 310 cartons of spaghetti with funds were distributed to constituents as Ramadan support by the federal lawmaker representing Guri, Kirikasamma, and Birniwa in Jigawa state.
The Coordinating committees from the constituencies, Musa Isyaku Birniwa, Bulama Kaku Kirikasamma, and Abubakar Isyaku Aimag from Gurl distributed the items.
According to Abubakar Isyaku, they distributed 350 bags of rice to each local government and 100 cartons of spaghetti with money.
He said the gesture was to make the community members enjoy the dividends of democracy in the month of Ramada.
Apart from party supporters and party excos that benefit, associations, traditional title holders, security agencies, social media influencers, and religious leaders too were among the beneficiaries.
Constituents said the tenure of the representative of the Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Abubakar Zama Fulata has been marked by remarkable achievements in terms of enhancing the educational sector, agriculture, security, and the socioeconomic and well-being of the people of the area.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the Council Chairmen of Kirikasamma, Guri, and Birniwa, Muhammad Maji wakili Marma, represented by his Vice commended the gesture made by the federal lawmaker.
