The Advertising Practitioners’ Association of Kano State (APAK) has congratulated Hajia Sa’a Ibrahim, a member of the association, on her appointment to the newly inaugurated Advertising Offences Tribunal.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday by its Chairman, Comrade Sammani Shariff Bashir, APAK described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Ibrahim’s experience, professionalism, integrity, and contributions to the development of Nigeria’s advertising and marketing communications industry.
The association expressed pride that one of its members had been entrusted with the responsibility, particularly at a time when the industry faces challenges posed by unqualified practitioners and quacks.
According to APAK, the situation remains a significant concern in Kano State, where the activities of unqualified practitioners continue to undermine professionalism and the growth of the advertising industry.
The association urged Ibrahim to approach her new responsibility with fairness, courage, patience and professionalism, while expressing confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully to the work of the tribunal.
It also prayed for divine guidance and wisdom for Ibrahim as she discharges her duties, particularly in making decisions that would strengthen professionalism, accountability and ethical standards within the industry.
APAK wished her a successful and impactful tenure, describing her appointment as a source of pride to its members.
