The National House of Assembly Member representing Karaye and Rogo federal constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Sani Rogo has distributed 39,934 exercise books to both junior and secondary school students in Rogo LGA, Kano state.
In his remarks during the distribution exercise, Hon. Rogo noted that the books are being distributed to support education of students in Rogo.
He added that the lack of books has delayed some students from resuming school.
Each student was given nine pieces of exercise books.
“We strongly advise all our representatives to continue with their good works of emancipation especially during these hard times.
The Head of Schools, SERBICES, Sani Shuaibu Rogo, said “this distribution will attract massive enrollment of students this academic year.
“It will also reduce the economic hardships on the parents who cannot afford books for their children.
“There is the need for our serving representatives to continue with their assistance, scholarship that would have direct impacts in the rural communities.
