Jigawa: Over 5,000 Less Privileged to Enjoy J-Care Program in Kirikasamma

Jigawa State Government has embarked on enrollment registration of less privileged people who will enjoy the J-Care program in the Kirikasamma local government area (LGA).

The Primary Healthcare Coordinator of Kirikasamma LGA, Musa Abdullahi Diladige, said the program will enhance the healthcare services in remote areas and reduce the transportation of ill people to urban if not necessary.

“In each ward of Kirikasamma local Government 50 beneficiaries will be enrolled which will make a total of 5000 beneficiaries collectively in Kirikasamma,” he added.

The enrollment officer assigned for registration, Dr. Yunusah Usman, represented by Yusuf Sa’idu, said the age groups that will benefit from the program are lactating mothers, pregnant women, the aged, and people with disabilities.

The Chairman of Kirikasamma LGA, Muhammad Maji Wakili, commended Governor Umar Namadi Danmodi for this good initiative.

He pledged to give maximum support and cooperation for the success of the exercise.
