Kano Pilgrims Receive Utmost Medical Attention

Kano State Pilgrims have been receiving the utmost medical attention in the Holy Land, working around the clock to ensure those who fall sick get treatment.

Clinics are being established at various Hotels by the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board to give adequate medical attention and medical supplies, a press release issued on Saturday by Mustapha Muhammad, the Head of the Kano State Media Team, Hajj 2026, disclosed.

According to the statement, a visit to some of the clinics showed a medical team busy attending to pilgrims with various illnesses, largely fever, joint pains, and BP patients.

The Pilgrims Welfare Board had adequate medical supplies and are being given free to any pilgrim who fell sick.

Dr Ashiru Muhammad Sumaila, who lead a clinic at House No 5 briefed journalists on the efforts of the government to cater for the health of every pilgrim.

“We are working around the clock, and we can take a patient to any advanced hospital if need be, for referral,” Dr, Ashiru Muhammad has said.

The State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has promised to give pilgrims maximum attention, especially on health, as the saying goes, ” health is wealth.
