The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a man identified as Innocent Chukwuma for allegedly using his social media account to campaign for a military coup in Nigeria.
Security expert Zagazola Makama disclosed the development on Wednesday via his official X handle, stating that DSS operatives tracked and arrested the suspect in Oyigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Chukwuma, who operates the X account @TheAgroman, reportedly posted messages calling for the overthrow of the current administration and urging Nigerians to support the military.
According to sources quoted by Makama, Chukwuma is currently in DSS custody and is cooperating with investigators as the agency continues its investigation into the incident.
