The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to working closely with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to enhance services at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Speaking through the Director of Hajj Operations, Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, during a courtesy visit to the Regional General Manager of the airport on Wednesday, Danbappa said the Board plans to contribute to the renovation of the mosque located at the Fire Service section of the airport as part of its ongoing support.

Ghali stressed that the Board would sustain its cooperation with FAAN to ensure smooth and efficient airport operations, particularly during Hajj exercises.

In his remarks, the Regional General Manager of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Ahmadu Danjuma, praised the Pilgrims Welfare Board for its intervention and pledged that the Federal Government would complete the full renovation of the airport’s Hajj Terminal before the commencement of this year’s pilgrims’ airlift.

He also commended the Board for adhering strictly to rules and regulations during the just-concluded Hajj operations.
