The Presidency has confirmed the appointment of Mr Rotimi Richard Pedro as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
This is just as the President also announced the appointment of 3 other Executive Directors into different departments in the organisation.
The names were displayed on the X handle of @the Presidency on Wednesday, ending several days of speculation on the changes at the television station.
The Presidency, in a post on x handle tiles ” President Tinubu Strengthen ls National Broadcasting, Appoints New NTA DG and EDs, shows that Karimah Bello from Katsina State was also appointed as the new Executive Director, Marketing.
According to the statement, the appointments, which take effect immediately, reaffirm the President’s commitment to strengthening national broadcasting as a platform for unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy.
