Sokoto Advancement Forum (SAF) on Thursday, inaugurated an eight-member Media Team, naming former NUJ Sokoto Chairman, Dr. Muhammad Sajo Sanyinna, as its Chairman.
Speaking at the event, SAF Interim Chairman, Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Wali, said the move was strategic in boosting the Forum’s visibility and strengthening its advocacy for Sokoto’s development.
He stressed that the media is a vital pillar in amplifying SAF’s initiatives, engaging citizens, and holding institutions accountable.
The newly inaugurated team includes seasoned media professionals from across local and international platforms, all tasked with ensuring SAF’s vision and activities reach the public.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Sanyinna pledged that the team will work tirelessly to project SAF’s mission, mobilize support, and serve as a bridge between the Forum, government, and the people of Sokoto.
“Our task is clear. We will work to project SAF’s vision, create awareness of its programs, and mobilize broad-based support for the development of Sokoto State,” he affirmed.
