The Governing Board of the Federal University of Agriculture Zuru has approved the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Ramsey Muhammad as Vice Chancellor of the University for the Tenure of five years.
Briefing newsmen at the University in Zuru, the council security who is also the registrar of the school, Abdulaziz Yusuf Bazata said, the Governing Board of the university interviewed for the vacant seat of the University, from the results, Prof Ibrahim Ramsey Muhammad has emerged as the Vice-chancellor.
He maintained that Prof Ibrahim has been a professor of Animal Science for over 30 years and also has been in the university system for over 3 decades.
He further disclosed that the newly appointed VC till his appointment is the Dean Faculty of Agriculture at the University.
In another development, the university also has appointed Mr Abdulrasheed Atanda Ahmed as the University Bursar.
explained that Mr. Abdulrasheed Atanda before his appointment is the Deputy Bursar, University of Ilorin, and has accounting experience for over 30 years.
He wished the duo a fruitful and peaceful tenure.
