Editor

According to Bala Mohammed, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’s Forum, the party has successfully resolved the internal crisis within the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

Speaking to reporters at the private departure lounge of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday morning, Governor Mohammed, alongside acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Ilyas Damagun, confirmed that the suspended members of the NWC have been fully reinstated, with the party returning to a “status quo ante.”

“The crisis is over,” Mohammed said.

“We, the PDP Governors’ Forum, alongside the Board of Trustees and the National Assembly Caucus, have collectively resolved that all members of the PDP NWC should return to their positions,” he added.

This resolution marks a turning point in addressing the leadership challenges that had caused internal friction within the PDP. Further details on the agreement are expected to emerge soon.
