Team Kogi Athletes on Thursday protested the non-payment of their allowance, reports Completesports.com.
The athletes, who are competing at the 2024 National Sports Festival accused the State Ministry of Sports under the leadership of Monday Anyebe for the non-payment of their allowance.
They also demanded the removal of Anyebe from office.
It would be recalled that Ogun State athletes also protested the non-payment of their allowance on Wednesday.
The closing ceremony of the 22nd National Sports Festival will hold on Thursday night.
Enugu will host the next edition of the sports festival.
