The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano has suspended some national Assembly members over alleged anti-party activities.
The NNPP State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, disclosed this on Monday to newsmen in Kano.
He said the four legislators including a Senator representing Kano South, Kawu Sumaila, Abdullahi Sani Rogo, a member representing Rogo Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Rurum, a member representing Rano/Kibiya, and Ali Madakin Gini, a Senator representing Dala Federal Constituency.”
Dungurawa said the party, expressed disappointment with the recent actions of some National Assembly members elected under the party’s platform.
According to him, despite being given complementary tickets to the legislators during the party elections, these members have allegedly gone against the party’s wishes, beliefs, and values.
