As the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations draws closer, Morocco is intensifying preparations by training hundreds of young volunteers to support the smooth running of the continent’s biggest football tournament.

A nationwide workshop has gathered enthusiastic youths for both theoretical and practical training in key areas such as public communication, logistics, hospitality, and first aid.

The initiative aims to equip participants with the skills needed to provide a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for the thousands of fans expected to attend.

“We are very passionate about sports, especially football, which is why finding volunteers was never a challenge,” said one participant. Another added,

“These training sessions have been an incredible experience, helping us gain valuable knowledge in sports management and football organization.”

Morocco will host the 35th edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The tournament will feature 24 national teams competing across nine stadiums in six cities.

As defending champions Côte d’Ivoire prepare to defend their title, Morocco is gearing up to deliver a tournament that celebrates unity, passion, and the spirit of African football.
