Kano NIPR Postpones 2026 AGM, Elections

Kano State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) wishes to inform all members, stakeholders, and the general public that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Elections, originally scheduled for 31 January 2026, have been postponed.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this rescheduling may cause.

A new date for these activities will be communicated in due course following further consultations.

Despite the change in schedule, the State Executive Council confirms that all previously constituted committees remain valid and fully operational.

These committees will continue their preparatory mandates to ensure a seamless transition and a successful event..

Malam Aminu Hamza is the Chairman of the committee, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai Secretary, whle Malam Aminu Inuwa, Professor Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi and Uba Abdullahi are to serve as members.

Meanwhile, a 15-man Local Organizing Committee (LOC) was also set up under the Chairmanship of Aliyu Yusuf, while Usman Gwadabe is to serve as the secretary.

The LOC is to oversee the general conduct of the Annual General Meeting.
