Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the appointment of 21 new secretaries across the state’s local government councils.
The announcement was made on Monday in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Yakubu Bala-Tafida, conveyed the appointments in an official letter to the appointees.
The newly appointed secretaries include Muhammad Aliero for Aliero LGA, Zainab Kangiwa for Arewa, Lawali Target for Argungu, Dallatu Muhammad for Augie, and Mohammed Gawamba for Bagudo.
Others are Ahmed Zauro for Birnin Kebbi, Mohammed Umar Bunza for Bunza, Abdulkadir Kamba for Dandi, Rabi’u Bena for Danko Wasagu, Aliyu Abubakar for Fakai, and Aliyu Dalijan for Gwandu.
Also appointed are Sabi’u Jandutse for Jega, Umar Samaila for Kalgo, Suleiman Koko for Besse, Buhari Bawa for Maiyama, Aliyu Libata for Ngaski, Aliyu Diri for Sakaba, and Aminiu Arzuka for Shanga.
Completing the list are Abdullahi Kwakware for Suru, Nasiru Dantani for Yauri, and AbdurRahman Manga for Zuru.
The SSG charged the new secretaries to serve with diligence and commitment in supporting the administration’s development agenda for the state.
