Kano Housing Transformation Earns National Recognition as KSHC MD Secures 2nd AHCN VP Term

The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Abdullahi Rabiu, has been re-elected as the Vice President of the Association of Housing Corporations of Nigeria (AHCN) during the Association’s 49th Annual General Meeting, held in Calaber, Cross River State.

The re-election of Abdullahi Rabiu is a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in his leadership and professional competence by housing administrators across the country.

It also reflects the growing national recognition of the Kano State Government’s unwavering commitment to advancing housing development and infrastructure renewal under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The Association acknowledged Kano State’s remarkable strides in expanding access to affordable housing, revitalising housing infrastructure, and implementing policies aimed at improving the living standards of residents. These achievements have positioned Kano as one of the leading states in the nation’s housing sector.

In a telephone interview with the Director Public Enlightenment of the Kano State Housing Corporation Malan Ismail Garba Gwammaja shortly after the meeting, the MD Kano Housing Corporation, Rabiu highlighted that
the meeting was sponsored by the Cross River State Property Development and Investment Limited (CROSPIL) and is deliberated extensively on “Affordable Housing Solutions for Low Income Earners in Emerging Real Estate Market”.

He therefore expressed profound gratitude to members of the Association for the confidence reposed in him pledged to continue working assiduously with other members of the executive to advance the objectives of the Association, promote innovation, and strengthen collaboration among housing corporations across Nigeria.

The MD further dedicated the honour to the Government and people of Kano State, noting that the achievement was made possible through the visionary leadership and continuous support of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the housing sector.

He also reaffirms his continued commitment to the present administration in delivering sustainable, affordable, and quality housing projects that will continue to improve the welfare of the people of Kano State.
