Kano State Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, today Friday attended the Janazah prayer for a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, Hamza Usman Darma, who passed away earlier in the day.
The funeral prayer was held at Bulama Mosque, Hotoro quarters in Nasarawa local Government area Kano and led by Shiek Bashir Tijjani Zangon Barebari where the Deputy Governor joined family members, political associates, community leaders, Businessmen and other mourners in paying their final respects to the deceased.
Hamza Darma was a prominent figure in the APC in Kano and was known for his contributions to the party in the state.
He was later laid to rest at the Abattoir Cemetery, Dala local Government area in the state Capital.
Earlier, the Deputy Governor attended the wedding Fatiha of Mubarak Ibrahim Kabo and his bride, Sa’adatu Sabiu Aliyu, held in Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State.
At the ceremony, Murtala Garo served as the Wakili (representative) of the groom, Mubarak Ibrahim Kabo, on a dowry of one hundred thousand Naira (N100,000).
The Deputy Governor also paid a condolence visit to the family of late Usman Sarkin Kasuwa, who recently passed away in Kabo Town praying for Allah to forgive the deceased and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo also prayed for Allah to forgive Alhaji Hamza Usman Darma, grant him Aljanna Firdaus and comfort his family, friends and associates.
