The Kano State Government has dismissed reports alleging that the State Civil Service Commission (CSC) is selling employment application forms.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Commission’s Director of Public Enlightenment, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai, described the claims as false and misleading, stressing that no such directive was ever given.
“The Commission wishes to inform the general public that at no time has it authorised the sale of any application forms for recruitment into the State Civil Service.
“This claim is entirely not true and should be disregarded,” the statement read.
The CSC advised the public to rely only on official government channels for credible updates on recruitment and warned that fraudsters exploiting job seekers in its name would face the law.
It also reiterated its commitment to transparency and due process in all recruitment exercises, urging residents to remain vigilant against scams.
For verified information, the public was directed to use government-approved communication platforms or visit the Commission’s office at the Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano.
