Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has accused fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin of using diabolic means against her and her children, reigniting a bitter feud that has spanned over a year.

The conflict between the two actresses began in 2023, marked by heated exchanges and public attacks on social media.

Although there appeared to be a temporary truce in June 2024, tensions have resurfaced, with both stars once again taking to social media to trade accusations.

The feud took a darker turn this week following a fire incident at Iyabo Ojo’s Lagos office, which prompted her to issue a public warning.

In a video posted on Instagram on Friday, Iyabo Ojo declared that Lizzy Anjorin should be held responsible if anything were to happen to her or her children.

This statement came after Lizzy claimed on her own Instagram page that the ₦1 billion lawsuit filed against her by Iyabo had been dismissed by the court, adding that the judge ordered Iyabo to pay damages.

However, Iyabo swiftly countered that claim, explaining that the session Lizzy referred to was not a full court trial but an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process.

She clarified that the ADR judge had only advised both parties to settle their differences amicably and later withdrew from the case, meaning the formal legal proceedings had not yet begun.

Iyabo alleged that during the ADR sessions, Lizzy denied having issues with her and failed to name her when asked directly.

She also claimed Lizzy’s online attacks had continued even after the ADR judge advised peace, prompting the reassignment of the case to another court.

According to Iyabo, Lizzy manipulated the process to return the case to the same ADR judge, who eventually declined to proceed further.

Iyabo said she had been patiently waiting for Lizzy to publicly mention her name, as this would allow her to take the matter forward in court.

She accused Lizzy of repeatedly attacking her, her family, and close associates both online and through alleged spiritual means.

Among the allegations, Iyabo claimed Lizzy took her and her children’s names to a herbalist to lay curses, and falsely linked her to the death of singer Mohbad.

Iyabo also accused Lizzy of bullying her daughter Priscilla, her son Festus, her partner, and her son-in-law, and of making defamatory and unfounded allegations over time.

She referenced a specific video in which Lizzy allegedly called for the death of someone’s daughter through spiritual means, claiming it was a veiled threat directed at her family.

Iyabo further stated that a criminal petition had already been filed, and she was ready to take the matter to court.

“Now that you have mentioned my name, you must prove everything you’ve said,” she said. “Every allegation you’ve made about me and my loved ones will be addressed in court.”

Iyabo ended her message by holding Lizzy responsible for any harm that may come to her or her family, stressing that justice must now take its course.
