Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message on Thursday, the Mutfwang commended the Muslim Ummah for their devotion, discipline, and sacrifices during the fasting period, urging them to uphold the virtues of love, peace, charity, tolerance, and unity beyond the celebrations.

He described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant moment that reinforces faith, sacrifice, and submission to the will of God, while acknowledging the Muslim community’s commitment to peaceful coexistence in Plateau State and the country at large.

“I heartily rejoice with the Muslim Ummah on this special occasion, which reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice and total submission to the will of God Almighty,” Mutfwang said, calling on citizens to reflect on the values of selflessness and collective responsibility in building a more united and prosperous society.

The oGvernor also urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for Nigeria’s leaders, seeking divine guidance and wisdom in delivering responsive governance.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusivity and good governance, Mutfwang assured residents of continued efforts to safeguard lives and property, improve welfare, and promote sustainable development across communities.

He further advised pilgrims sponsored by the state for the Hajj to serve as worthy ambassadors and offer prayers for the peace, unity, and progress of Plateau State and Nigeria.

Mutfwang called on all citizens, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to embrace unity, uphold the rule of law, and support policies aimed at fostering economic growth and social development.
