As a result of several new lawsuits filed on Monday, Sean “Diddy” Combs is now the target of fresh accusations of rape, sexual abuse, and assault.
Two women and four men filed at least six cases in federal court in New York. They contain claims made between 1995 and 2021.
Major celebrities and musicians allegedly attended Diddy’s parties, where the unidentified accusers claim some of the assaults took place.
Every civil and criminal allegation made against Mr. Combs has been refuted in the past.
One of the accusers claimed that when he went to one of the Hamptons parties in 1998, he was sixteen years old. He claims that during their discussion about breaking into the music business, the rapper allegedly assaulted him.
The lawsuit includes a photo of the pair together at the party with the teen’s face blurred out.
The accuser says that during their conversation, Mr. Combs abruptly ordered him to undress.
Mr. Combs said in the lawsuit that it was “the route to becoming a star” and “a rite of passage.”
A woman who claims Mr. Combs sexually assaulted her in a hotel room in 2004 while she was a 19-year-old college student filed another lawsuit on Monday.
She met the music mogul at a picture session, according to the lawsuit, and he invited her and a friend to a private party at his hotel. Despite her repeated requests for him to stop, the lawsuit claims that after they arrived, Mr. Combs “fondled, molested, and ultimately raped her.”
According to Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who is defending the victims, more than 100 people intend to sue the rapper over the claims of sexual assault, rape and sexual exploitation.
Mr. Buzbee has said that some of the alleged victims include children. He said the lawsuits are being brought under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows victims to file older claims.
The most recent charges have not received a response from Mr. Combs or his legal counsel.
He is being prosecuted on federal criminal allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking in addition to these new lawsuits. Mr. Combs is the target of more than a dozen lawsuits that describe numerous assaults, rapes, and instances of sexual extortion.
