Afrobeats star Davido has added another international milestone to his career as his fourth studio album, Timeless, has officially earned Silver certification in the United Kingdom.
The recognition comes after the album surpassed 100,000 unit sales in the UK, according to Chart Data, a leading platform for music analytics and certifications.
Released on March 31, 2023, Timeless quickly made waves both locally and globally, breaking multiple streaming records on Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay, and YouTube within its first 24 hours and debut week.
The 17-track album features a diverse range of collaborations, including appearances by Asake, Skepta, Dexta Daps, Fave, The Cavemen, and Grammy-winning singer Angelique Kidjo.
The album’s impact extended to prestigious awards platforms. Timeless earned Davido a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album, while the lead single Unavailable not only achieved Silver status in the UK but also received a nomination for Best African Song Performance at the Grammys.
Another fan favorite from the project, Feel, was nominated for Best Global Song Performance, further highlighting the album’s international success.
Building on this momentum, Davido released his fifth studio album, 5ive, in April 2025.
The new album, also comprising 17 tracks, has enjoyed strong commercial performance, particularly with the standout track With You, featuring Omah Lay, which is already regarded as one of the biggest hits of 2025.
Davido, now a five-time Grammy nominee, is currently on his 5ive world tour, performing across North America and Europe.
The tour features music from both Timeless and 5ive, offering fans a blend of his latest sounds and timeless classics.
