The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has once again postponed the implementation of its revised service fees, moving the effective date to 1 October 2025.
The announcement was made in a public notice shared on the Commission’s official X handle on Saturday night.
According to the notice, the adjustment became necessary to ensure the full stabilization of the new Company Registration Portal (CRP), which is expected to be completed by mid-September.
“In demonstration of our unwavering commitment to service excellence, the Commission has resolved to prioritize the full stabilization of the new CRP before the middle of September 2025.
Consequently, the revised fees for services will now come into effect on 1 October 2025,” the statement read.
The Commission noted that the decision was aimed at ensuring a seamless, efficient, and beneficial transition for all stakeholders.
It also expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of customers during the ongoing reforms, reaffirming its commitment to building an intelligent, customer-focused registry that meets global standards.
It will be recalled that the revised fees were initially scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2025, before being shifted to 1 September to allow for a smoother transition to the upgraded registration platform.
