Governor Sule Congratulates Justina Ofoku on Election as Nasarawa NUJ Chairperson

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has congratulated Mrs. Justina Ofoku on her election as Chairperson of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nasarawa State Council, describing her emergence as a clear demonstration of the confidence journalists in the state have in her leadership, professionalism and dedication to the ideals of the journalism profession.

A congratulatory message personally signed by Governor, Sule, said Ofoku’s election reflected her credibility, competence and unwavering commitment to advancing the objectives of the NUJ.

He expressed confidence that the newly elected chairperson would provide purposeful leadership, promote the welfare and professional development of journalists, and uphold the ethics and integrity of the profession throughout her tenure.

The Governor also commended members of the NUJ, Nasarawa State Council, for conducting a peaceful, transparent and credible election, noting that the process underscored the council’s maturity, unity and commitment to democratic values.
