Veteran Nigerian artist Bankole Wellington, well known by his stage name Banky W, has announced that he has relocated to the United States with his family.
This was disclosed by Banky W via a post on his official Instagram page.
The 43-year-old rapper shared pictures on social media and stated that they left Nigeria to pursue their mission in life.
Bank W wrote: “For family. for conviction. to discover a purpose. for the next academic year at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where a master’s degree in policy management will be earned.
“Send us your best wishes.”

“Home is wherever you are,” said Banky W’s wife Adesua in response to his Instagram post.
The rapper made his Georgetown University enrollment in Policy Management known earlier in July.
Bank W and Adesua Etomi married in South Africa in 2017 – and welcomed their child, Hazaiah in 2021.
Remember that the numerously honored performers entered politics as well, running as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos in 2023.
But Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party defeated him.
Gospel artist Nikki Laoye [nikkilaoye] posted the following in response to Bank W’s announcement: “Much Luv to you bro.” God is with you and your loved ones at all times.
Rita Dominic, a Nollywood actress, also commented, saying, “Awww, look at how your son looks up to you both!” 😍 God protect, lead, and guide you all.
