Dangote Petroleum Refinery wishes to announce a reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, by N30.00, from N850 to N820 per litre, with effect from Tuesday, 12 August 2025.

A statement issued on Tuesday by Dangote’s Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the decision reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting national development and ensuring affordability for Nigerians.

“We remain dedicated to providing a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to meet the nation’s needs.

“In furtherance of our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, the Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria, starting from 15 August 2025.

“These initiatives reinforce our commitment to driving efficiency, supporting the energy transition, and making a meaningful contribution to Nigeria’s economic growth,” the statement added.
