Liverpool have turned down a £58.6 million bid from Bayern Munich for Colombian forward Luis Diaz, reaffirming their stance that the player is not for sale.

Bayern made the approach earlier this month but were swiftly informed that Diaz remains a key part of new manager Arne Slot’s plans.

That message was reinforced on Tuesday when Liverpool formally rejected the Bundesliga side’s opening offer.

The 28-year-old winger, under contract at Anfield until the summer of 2027, is valued by Liverpool at over £87 million.

Diaz played a pivotal role last season, scoring 22 goals for club and country—13 of which came in the Premier League—as Liverpool claimed the title by a 10-point margin.

Diaz has previously attracted interest from Manchester City and remains a target for Saudi Arabian clubs, but Liverpool are intent on keeping him.

Meanwhile, the Reds are actively looking to strengthen their attacking options and have shown firm interest in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

Sources indicate Liverpool have taken concrete steps towards a potential deal for the Swedish international and are also assessing other centre-forward options as part of their summer recruitment strategy.
