Former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari, has paid an solidarity visit to the former chairman of the now defunct Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Dr. Ibrahim Galadima in Kano.
Maigari, Saturday, arrived the Dandali Fagge residence of the Galadima’s where he visited the former NFA boss, who is currently recuperating from the surgery.
Maigari said he had travelled from Bauchi to Kano purposely to fraternize with his leader, Alhaji Galadima.
In his words, Maigari said “I feel very happy today, I have seen Galadima, he is recovering fast.”
He described Galadima as one of the pillars in Nigerian football and sports in its entirety.
Maigari prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to bless Galadima with good health, he prayed for the speedy recovery of all those that are facing various forms medical challenges at homes and in hospitals.
Reacting, the former NFA Boss, Ibrahim Galadima expressed his appreciation for the visit.
He applauded Maigari for setting aside his tight schedules to pay him the commonality visit.
Galadima stated that the visit is an indicator that football bond grows beyond playing the game, nor it’s politics, it s a family affair, Galadima said.
He then further thanked the football fraternity from all across Nigeria for their best wishes, he said he was dazed by the love showered on him throughout his admission at a private medical facility in Kano.
He thanked Nigerian government functionaries, traditional rulers, politicians, businessmen and the general public for visiting him at the hospital and at home, including those who sent in their goodwill messages from across the globe.
