The Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has commissioned the Bank of Industry’s (BOI) office in Kogi.
While speaking at the occasion on Monday, the Governor noted that the development is expected to transform Kogi State’s industrial sector and boost the state’s economy.
He said he is not just commissioning a building, he is unveiling a future that would be anchored on the belief that is powered by the collective Will of the people determined to become the economic nerve of our dear nation.
In his words: “It is with all sense of fulfillment that I welcome the Bank of Industry to Lokoja, Kogi State. Your presence here is not just an investment but a statement that Kogi State is ready and open.
“With the Bank of Industry on our side and confidence, we would not get it wrong.
Governor Ododo, who praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving special attention to Kogi State, also assured the leadership of the Bank of Industry that his administration would do everything possible to provide a conducive living environment in Kogi State.
In his remark, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry, Dr Olasupo Olusi stressed that the presence of the Bank in Kogi state would enable SMEs, large corporate manufacturers, cooperatives, women and youth led businesses and industrial ventures in the state to grow, create job and contribute meaningfully to the inclusive economic development of f the State.
The establishment of the BOI office in Kogi State marks a major milestone in the state’s economic growth, providing small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, women-led ventures, and youth-driven innovations with increased access to finance.
