Peace is everybody’s business; a peaceful festive period free of rancour and disharmony is what every good citizen yearns for.
Against this backdrop, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano command, under the leadership of Commandant Shafi’u Abdulmumini, is all set to provide security and ensure peaceful Eid-el-fitr celebrations in the state.
On Friday, the State Commandant has approved the deployment of three thousand two hundred and fifty-six (3,256) operatives across the state for a successful and hitch-free sallah festivities in the state.
Personnel will be mobilized around Eid praying grounds, recreational/event centres, markets, etc, to safeguard lives and property and ensure free vehicular movements.
Adequate security has been provided on all critical national assets and infrastructure.
Personnel of the command have been briefed to work in conjunction and synergy with all the security agencies for a peaceful sallah celebration.
The good people of Kano are hereby advised to cooperate with the security agents while the festive season lasts for a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-fitr.
