Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has assured citizens of his safety after surviving a minor road accident along the Daura–Katsina highway on Sunday night.
In a live video broadcast from his residence on Monday, the Governor expressed deep appreciation to the people of Katsina State and Nigerians at large for their prayers and concern.
“By the will of Allah, we were tested with a car accident—but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed,” Governor Radda said.
He noted that he is currently under medical observation as a precautionary measure and confirmed that he remains in good health and high spirits.
The Governor was returning to Katsina from an engagement in Daura when the incident occurred.
Governor Radda concluded his message with a word of thanks: “Once again, thank you for your heartfelt prayers. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.”
