Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has vowed to spearhead efforts, in collaboration with key stakeholders in Dala Local Government Area for the recall of Hon. Aliyu Sani Madakin Gini, a member of the House of Representatives.
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) stakeholders from Dala have accused Hon. Madaki of engaging in anti-party activities and betraying the leadership of the party, particularly the national leader Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and the Kwankwasiyya movement.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting at Mumbayya House, Comrade Waiya announced that all necessary conditions for the recall would be fulfilled, and the party would seek guidance from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a smooth and successful process.
Speaking earlier, the Majority Leader of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawal Husaini Dala, further alleged that Hon. Madaki, despite benefiting from the NNPP’s support, is now covertly working with the opposition All Progressives Congress APC.
Madaki has not responded to the allegation as of the time of filing this report this morning.
The event was attended by all political appointees, women and youth groups and other party loyalists
