A 16-year-old student of GoldMark Academy, Benin City, Master Oshawo Ephraim, has emerged as one of the highest scorers in the just concluded Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Ephraim, who hails from the Iyora community in the Estako West Local Government Council of Edo State, scored an aggregate of 368.
The score made him one of the highest scorers in the country.
In the result released by JAMB, the teenager scored 98 in mathematics, 98 in Physics, 98 in Chemistry, and 74 in English Language.
Ephraim chose to study Computer Science at the University of Benin, UNIBEN.
Recalls that JAMB had disclosed that 75 percent of candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME scored below 200, while a few others attained scores above 300.
